This update shares the ongoing progress of our partnership to bring the Gospel and practical hope to the Katcha people, even in the midst of war and displacement.
A Resilient People
The Katcha live in the Nuba Mountains of Sudan, a region that has faced decades of conflict. Yet their resilience and hunger for truth continue to inspire. Our partners on the ground remain committed to reaching them with the love of Christ through Bible translation, literacy programs, and community development.
Continued Progress Despite War
Despite the civil war that erupted in Sudan in April 2023, the work among the Katcha has continued. Local leaders trained and equipped by our partners have stepped up to carry the ministry forward, even when international workers have had to evacuate.
The Katcha people are hungry for God’s Word in their own language. Your support is making it possible for them to hear the Gospel for the very first time.
Thank you for standing with the Katcha people through your prayers and generosity. Together, we are bringing lasting hope to one of the most forgotten corners of the world.
