During our recent visit to Zambia, Africa we had a chance to sit down and talk with Brent and Kerri Roberts and Luke and Elise Whitfield, the missionaries heading ELEEO, about how God is moving through their ministry.
ELEEO provides faith-based outreach to the Tonga people through education, leadership training and church planting. The ambition and practice of ELEEO is to love people through the creation of genuine relationships. The Roberts and the Whitfields seek reconciliation of the people they
serve in families, in the community, and in relationships with God. They not only want to help these people learn about God but want them to experience Him in real ways. ELEEO works to foster an environment in which the Tonga people understand what God has equipped them with and what He wants for their lives.
One main project funded by Empower Dreams and carried out by ELEEO is their agricultural ministry. This focuses on educating the locals through Foundation of Farming Principles. Brent and Luke teach about the basics of farming techniques as well as other related content. This is an imperative portion of this ministry because it meets the people through a direct connection to their culture and community. This reinforces the truth that these people are loved, that they are important, and that they have the tools and knowledge to make their lives and community a better place.
Thank you for your commitment to this ministry.
