Southern Peru is a region with deep spiritual need. Many communities in the highlands and rural areas have limited access to churches, trained pastors, or Scripture in their heart language. That is why the discipleship work happening there is so significant — it is raising up local leaders who can carry the gospel to their own people in culturally meaningful ways.
Robyn has been closely connected to this work and shares how the partnership model is bearing fruit. Rather than sending outsiders to do the work, Empower Dreams resources indigenous leaders who already understand the culture, speak the language, and have relationships within their communities. This approach leads to deeper, more sustainable discipleship.
The stories coming out of South Peru are remarkable. Men and women who had never heard the gospel clearly are now not only followers of Jesus but are discipling others. Small groups are forming in villages that previously had no Christian presence. The multiplication effect is exactly what we pray for in every partnership.
We are grateful for partners like Robyn who give their time and passion to see this work flourish. If you would like to support discipleship efforts in Peru, your gift goes directly to training and equipping these local leaders.
