Payton Whitfield felt the call to serve in Zambia and answered without hesitation. Through the Eleeo Project, he and his team work to meet the physical and spiritual needs of some of Zambia’s most vulnerable communities. The name “Eleeo” comes from the Greek word for mercy, and that is exactly what this ministry embodies—compassion in action.

The Eleeo Project focuses on sustainable community development, combining Gospel proclamation with practical care. From agricultural training that helps families become self-sufficient to educational programs that give children a future, the project addresses poverty at its roots while pointing people to the ultimate source of hope in Christ.
