Orphanage Moving Closer to Sustainability

The Fountain of Life Orphanage in Kenya continues to grow and move toward sustainability, with a new playground donation for the daycare marking another important milestone.

One of the most exciting developments at the Fountain of Life Orphanage has been its steady progress toward financial sustainability. The orphanage has been developing income-generating activities that allow it to become less dependent on outside donations while continuing to provide excellent care for the children in its charge.

A key part of this sustainability strategy has been the daycare program, which serves children from the surrounding community while generating revenue to support the orphanage’s operations. Thanks to the generosity of Empower Dreams donors, a new playground has been donated to the daycare, providing a safe and joyful space for children to play and learn. This investment not only blesses the children but also makes the daycare more attractive to local families, strengthening the sustainability model.

The children at Fountain of Life are thriving. They are receiving nutritious meals, quality education, and most importantly, the love of a family and the hope of the gospel. Every step toward sustainability means that this care can continue for years to come, regardless of fluctuations in outside funding.

We celebrate this progress and thank every donor who has invested in the Fountain of Life Orphanage. Your generosity is building something that will last far beyond any single gift.
