Naomi’s Village is a children’s home and community development center in the Maai Mahiu area of Kenya that serves orphaned and vulnerable children. When the floodwaters rose, they threatened everything the community had built—classrooms, dormitories, gardens, and gathering spaces that had taken years of faithful investment to establish.

The damage was significant, but the response was immediate. Staff and community members worked tirelessly to protect the children and salvage what they could.
